Pros – You get to walk around and see some neat stuff, talk to a few people, learn a thing or two, and see a product demonstrated

Cons- You basically pay $10 for the opportunity to get in some place and shop, never paid to get into the mall, its a 2 hr drive, last one I went to seemed to have quite a bit less vendors, prices really don’t seem any cheaper than buying online

Anyone that normally goes have any reasons that it’s a must do on their list?

Agree….don’t expect a huge deal, but ten bucks is cheap entertainment. You may pick up a new idea, and at least you can chat with the vendors. Not a bad way to spend a day. Better than a sharp stick in the eye. :)

Hmmm chance of snow on Friday and it is a 2 hr drive to it.

I have been geared up to go, but that 2 hr drive is weighing on my decision.

I have decided to pass this year.(Tampa show) Seems to get smaller each year and you are right, very few bargains.

It’s totally up to you ,I guess it depends on what you expect to get out of it. Each show differs from year to year. If your a Charles Neil fan I know he’s going to the Baltimore show on the 4th.

I went in November to sacramento; with a list of six items I wanted. no venders had any of the six items. the tool prices, seemed to be the same price as every day prices. maybe a throw in of a minor item. I drove an hour; but I wouldn’t drive two hours and add in snow, too. I vote no go

Keep in mind it is just once a year.

There are rarely any deals anymore. The KC show used to have a delta distributor Hydraflow there… they always had great deals especially on the floor demo models.
Then when they just brought in Delta/Dewalt truck- – all that went away.

Still a good opportunity to learn some stuff and catch demos.
