My 13 year-old daughter is a great kid but she suffers from early onset teenage brain.
She had the wherewithal to use her allowance money to buy me this:
I'm duly impressed. So I see your chocolate tools and raise you a magnetic tool bracelet…..
Both of our sons and their families, includes 5 grandkids, spent Christmas at our home this year. First time we have been able to do this in 20 years.
My youngest son is retiring from 20 years service in the Air Force this year so he has moved back to the States.
My other son has had a very rough last three years with health problems in his family, layoffs, and an injury at work that cost him 4 months of income. But, a couple months ago he won a lottery big enough to pay off all his debt, pay off his house, and replace their vehicles and create a college fund for his kids.
So, even though I had to sell our house and farm and am having to move into town and downsize considerably, It was a truly grand reunion, lots of happy faces to all get together for one last great time at our old home. It was the best gift I could have gotten.
Now we are packing to get ready to move on to our next adventure, a small house to remodel, a new shop to build and a chance to get ready for next year's Christmas reunion. God is truly great.
