I a newbe here and looking for a quality source for highly figured birdseye maple wood and or turning stock
I build cues for myself, family and friends only…I cant seem to find a credible source of high grade …can anyone help ?

There’s no real standard for grading birdseye. I’ve seen birdseye represented as “strong” that you have to squint to see. My suggestion is to find someone who supplies to instrument manufacturers. Those specs are on a whole different level. Bell Forest knows what they’re doing and are worth checking with.
