I found a local auction for this band saw:

I have a 14” delta that isn’t in the best of shape so I’ve been keeping an eye out for something else. I came across this auction but I can’t find much about the brand or saw.

Anybody have experience with Seco? What would you pay for this saw? What kind of resaw capacity does it have?

The auction closes on Wed. They have inspection times Mon and Tue. If the bids haven’t gotten too high by then I may go for a closer lock to see what kind of shape it is in.

Same as KUFO. Company changed its name several years back.

Great looking band saw. I have no experience and got no other information about the saw. Check it out but don’t narrow down your search. You might want to check other brands.

KUFO/Seco has offices and a warehouse in Los Angeles. They
sell a lot of equipment to pro shops and also heavier equipment
to factory operations. Similar market position to Lobo – solid
value machines from Taiwan imported direct to So. California.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I just checked the auction again and it is up to $310. By the time it closes tomorrow I suspect it will go up a fair bit more. I think I’ll keep looking for a good deal elsewhere.

Have your say...
