I just got a Delta 14” bandsaw with metal rub blocks, Iturra Designs has band rollers, standard bearing and ceramic bearing, $60 and $80.
They fit into the Delta guides like the metal inserts. (See link below)
Just wondering if any LJ’s have tried them? Are they worth the upgrade?
I plan on replacing the metal ones with cool blocks and the solid ceramic ones depending on what blade I have on. These look like a big improvement to the solid ceramic.
Any input would be apreciated.

I personally like ceramic guides. The saws run very quiet and true. I do know some people who have just used wood blocks that have been soaked in mineral oil and have had good results. I guess it depends on the blade size and how much use it gets.
