A laser guided handsaw! I was perusing Marc’s Wood Whisperer site and followed links to this site. I am flabbergasted that these things ever see the light of day.

The only thing missing is “Billy Mays”, from Oxyclean, fame screaming the benefits!

I noticed that after the beginning intentional miscut, he followed the line perfectly

I kinda like that the saw handle doubles as a marking gauge.

yeah the square on the handle makes more sense than a laser.

What would really make this a winner is if you could beef up the laser by 1000x and have the laser do all the cutting for you.. so what if there is a little smoke :)

Love the billy Mays comment

As a child I watched my dad rip sheets of plywood and 2x’s with a handsaw and never waver from the line he marked. I couldn’t, and still can’t do that. If he was still around he’d get a good laugh out of this one. A remote controlled tape measure? Wow, sign me up. LOL

blaKE…IF you do send it to me…my miter saw is so old that it does not have a laser…so why not a hand saw…

It helps if you pronounce “laser” the way austin powers would say it…try it…”lay-zer”

Hmmm for freehand compound miters it might be useful .. but I think I will just use my compound miter saw thank you.

Note to Bob #2 some where I saw a light that attaches to the lid, and when you put the seat up too, it projected a target

My sister confronted a cousin one time. “Junior” she said, “I have heard that when you are poaching you are a pretty good shot?” “Yep, he replied, I hit them nearly every time,” ” Well then,” she replies, “how come you can’t hit the toilet?”— He roared with laughter, she never had another problem with him . . . ;-)

I’m sure that Lie-Nielsen will be picking up this feature real fast.
