I’ve almost decided on buying the DeWalt 20V Max Compact Hammer/Drill (with Impact Driver in combo kit) over other (18V) cordless drill combo kits for various reasons. I’m a DIYer on weekends but may take on full time renovation work this summer – and if so I’ll just slap in DeWalt’s bigger 3.0Ah batteries to supply longer juice. (If I had a bigger budget I’d get the 12V DeWalt or Bosch combo kit for home, and later a Makita 18V LXT combo for work).

However, I’m seeing some comments on other sites about the DeWalt 20V compact drill’s chuck not being precise enough or “sloppy” w.r.t. doing fine woodworking drilling – which is a concern for me since I also like making tables and casegoods. Anyone using this drill regularly notice this particular issue? Thanks in advance.
