That’s right, I said Grizzly Unisaw. A while back I acquired a Delta Unisaw. I purchased this saw from a private party but it had never been used. It did not have a fence, cast iron extensions, guard, and was missing some hardware. I picked up some missing hardware from Delta, found a used Biesemeyer online, and ordered a Shark Guard. The saw works great! I used it without any extensions for a couple projects…maybe 2 hours of actual run time. That was some time ago. I’ve decided to get my shop back to functional starting with this saw. The stock cast iron extensions (discontinued) are no where to be found….anywhere. I’ve searched the web over. The new universal wings are over $250 each!! I found some wings on the Grizzly site that I thought might work for much less. I called and they were nice enough to go out to the warehouse and take some measurements for me. They called back the next day with all the numbers. Sounds perfect. I ordered two. They arrived quickly and in great condition However, somebody at Grizzly does not know how to use a ruler. They fit perfectly between the rails but the mounting holes do not line up with the cast iron center. The holes on the Grizzly wings need to be slotted a little.

I took them to work and our tool room manager was kind enough to mill out the offending interference.
I’m very happy with the final results. Even the mods were relatively painless.

Next I would like to add a router insert on the far right.
