I had a couple handplanes that needed a new tote or two made. Had ONE cut out of Beech, decided to see how it would look. Hmmm. well maybe a little more grinding away on it, and a little sanding? Getting there. Sat it next to another tote that MIGHT get replaced, when I can cut another blank out.. Seems a little taller, too? Got the tote mounted on a Trans Plane I’ve been rehabbing up, gave it one coat of BLO to see what it would look like… Hmm, looks like I will have to turn a front knob as well.. Maybe another coat might darken it up? -- A Planer? I'M the planer, this is what I use |

Front knob is now matched to the rear tote.. same with a Savage #6, new knob and tote, in Black Walnut… Thanks for looking in… -- A Planer? I'M the planer, this is what I use |
