I remember a “gag” toy from years ago…I think that was a “pygmy squirrel”...essentially a “jack in the box” type toy that involved a rubber band “spring” and a spool that had a piece of fur and a noise making paddle (like playing cards in the spoke of your old bike wheel). When “loaded” and the top was opened, it “unloaded”, the fur flew around and the paddle made a noise like the animal was attacking.

It came to mind because an employee has a nasty habit of inspecting anything on my desk (he can’t help it). I figure it will be a training device.

Anybody ever seen such a thing?

I’ve searched everywhere with no luck and I can’t remember which one of my friends had it (I’m getting old) week I’ll start a few prototypes from memory. Perhaps I’ll improve the design and make a million $.

Have your say...
