Does anyone know where I can buy Crabapple boards? I live in Illinois, so any surrounding states would be alright too.
Thank You

Have not seen Crabapple advertised. I have cut some myself. Very hard and difficult to air dry. Internal forces tend to put cracks through it. Last stuff I got I tried something new to me. In a green log about 6” dia. I cut a kerf into the pith and early wood. Anchorsealed the ends, limb stubs and the kerf. It will enjoy a couple years in the attic before I even try to use. Have made some sawn veneers and trinkets. Wood has wide range of color and figure. Have cut out blanks for pistol scales, file handles and a fine blade carving knife handle. I got the wood for the time to take down the tree and haul it away. Did some pruning on his other trees too. Check with local arborists—many people in our area use the wood for smoking meat and fish. Good luck.
