Topic tags/keywords: sauna cedar joint

I am wondering if anyone has built a barrel sauna? I would like to build the tube style, not a coopered one, it would be 8’ long 6’ in height/wide. I am looking for any tips on how the staves would be shaped, just an angle or ball and socket. Also i have access to a bunch of cedar 2×4 , if i planned it down would this work for material? Thanks for any help

This sounds like an interesting build, I hope you can get the info you are looking for.
