I was given a Delta 22-580 planer awhile back and the reason was that the driven pulley for the belt was cracked and had ruined the belt. I replaced the belt and the pulley and fired the thing up. It ran but the feed rollers weren’t moving.
When I took the side off I found that the gears had stripped out in the gear box, probably from being moved while the motor was off.

I found a new gear box for this machine, but the $200 price tag is too steep for me right now.

I was wondering if anyone had an old 22-580 that was a parts machine they would be willing to sell me the gear box off of.
