Martin – if this is not appropriate to post, feel free to remove it. I know Ads make Lumberjocks money, and not sure if you appreciate me posting this. BUT, some do not like Ads. I dont really have a preference. I can easily ignore them, but at the same time, i like having them gone. You dont want to see Ads?? Follow these steps….. 1. This is for Google Chrome users (I use a Mac, but steps will be similar for Windows) if you see the stop sign with the hand in it…...the adblocker is working….. -- Hey you dang woodchucks, quit chucking my wood!!!! |

Thanks, but I get a sick kick out of responding to a thread that something “crapped its pants”, then seeing the Depends ad pop up before I can say dammitman. ;=) -- If you're going to stir the pot, think BIG spoon or SMALL boat paddle. David Grimes, Georgia |

Not sure we want the ads to go away. No ads, then members would have to pay a fee to be a part of a great site. The ads pay for us to have a great FREE site. Martin has to pay for bandwidth and all that goes along with a business. I’m glad he has been able to get some great advertisers on board so I don’t have to pay for such a great site. I understand not liking seeing the ads, but the alternative…... Just my two cents. -- "Our past judges our present." JFK - 1962; American Heritage Magazine |

Tried the FireFox link…no ads , but no stop sign showing either. LOL -- I'm absolutely positive that I couldn't be more uncertain! |

Hey Jim….if you have a mac…you click on Chrome in the upper left hand corner….. If you have Windows…(I might be wrong) There should be an icon of a wrench somewhere (near the top left or right). click on that wrench and preferences should be in there…...otherwise click on File….or something like that, and it should be within there. I could be wrong, I dont use Windows. Sorry, hopefully that works – maybe someone else can answer it better for you….. -- Hey you dang woodchucks, quit chucking my wood!!!! |

Jim, I’m with you…I cannot finf the Preferences button…not even with the wrench icon or in the file setting. |

Thanks darkremer but there’s nothing under the wrench that says preferences and I can’t find anything that says file either |
Have your say...
