Judging from the pix and seller description, this thing is a steal at $300. If I were anywhere close to Springfield MA, I’d be on my way to look at it.

I don’t know if I should admit that I already have TOOOOO many jointers and only two hands.
1} 6” bench top variable speed Delta POS
2} Antique 6”Delta Rockwell…all cast iron , of course.
3} Antique 4” Delta Rockwell…ditto
4}Ridgid 6” , waiting to be reassembled…cast iron with enclosed steel base
and
5} my most recent , Powermatic 6” 54A long bed
Anyone looking for a jointer ? LOL

Hi Tyrone,
the first one I bought due to space limitations and lack of knowledge.
the second one is my first REAL jointer , purchased from an elderly man ,selling out his shop equipment.
I had moved into my new house at that point.
the third was a lucky find that I refurbished.: )
the fourth was from a friend that was moving and needed the money.
and #5 , the Powermatic has been my dream for too many years , and I also bought that from an elderly man moving to Florida.
My plan is to rid myself of all but the latest and the 4 inch model.: )

Well , it finally sold today : ) 1963 Delta 6” with cast iron base.
Somebody will be enjoying it for years to come ! Lucky Dawg !! Congratulations

I was going to say I learned on one just like that in high school but it was even older than this one. I graduated in ‘65 so it was several years old then. They are good old solid machines.

One classy looking piece of machinery. They don’t make them like that anymore…sigh

it looks like rockwell/delta 37-220, the best 6 inch machine r/d ever made.
i used to have one too, i replaced it with an even older beaver 3800
