Project Pictures

Yep, me too.
But then, my projects are really not all that interesting or novel, anyway. Plus, any pictures would show my messy shop, of which I am supremely (and perpetually) ashamed.

I take quite a few pictures because most of my customers like seeing their project “grow” from a pile of lumber into something they’re paying for (sometimes rather handsomely – lol).

My big downfall is that I seldom get pictures of the piece in actual use. I usually snap a few pictures right after I install, but unless I go back for some reason, that’s the last time I see it.

I always take several pics when a project in in progress…I either take my camera or IPhone. I remember to take pics in stages from start to finish…I’ve just always done it that way…..it just the “remembering game”, but I also take pics to show the customer, if they ask. I keep a portfolio of all my projects that I build, and if someone wants to see it, or needs an idea….I’ve got it…If you ever view my projects page here on LJs, you’ll see what I’m talking about…..good thread….
