Covered front porch, open on sides, gets a little sun and a little rain. She’s going w/clear pine not PT KDAT, in order to see the grain and avoid the green residues and flakes you see from PT KDAT.

I like Epifanes but at $50 material costs per coat x 3-5 coats, kinda pricey. Painter told her ‘Superdeck’ from Sherwin Williams. Any other suggestions?

I’ve used superdeck for several years on our front porch and rear deck, does well for me. I reapply every 2-3 years, but we don’t have much wet weather, just hot Sun during the summer.

Thanks Ryan;

Clear? Has it yellowed?

No, I used a tinted one. But it holds color not-too-badly in the sun…don’t know about clear.
