Hello. I hope you are well and in good spirits. I’ve got a log of Arizona ash (Fraxinus velutina) split in half. I’ve seen a pretty rapid invasion of some kind of wood-boring pest since the night temperatures have risen above freezing. What might be doing this damage? How might I stop the little critters? I’ve only seen tiny ant-like things running real fast on the surface. And once I saw a very small black beetle-shaped bug too. -- Catlike |
