I'm looking for a new blade for my dewalt 745 table saw. It has a 30 mm arbor and uses blades up to 260mm (10 1/2" approx) diameter.

I'm a retired hobbyist with zero knowledge of best types of blade for certain uses and I'm completely confused by online "advice"

I want a saw blade that will cut hardwoods and leave a nice edge. My use can be described as 90% rip, 10% cross cut on boards up to 3" thick.
Plywood cutting is only occasionally and only 1/2" or less thickness.

If anyone can cut through the multiple choice options i would be grateful.

Thats a very in depth article, which has helped me a lot to decide which blade to buy, thanks very much.
BUT….. searching the internet I have come up with the closest match to my ideal blade, which is a Festool 575974 blade.
It meets all the requirements bar one, the blade tooth design is listed as "PW", and I can not find any explanation of that design anywhere.
Are there any festool owners around who could explain?

Yes, thats what I am going to buy (from the UK though, as my choices are very limited here).
From the UK websites they list the teeth style as "PW", where I was expecting to see FTG.
maybe its their own brand style of tooth?
