Anyone running the Makita Plunge saw on the Festool rails? I noticed when I ran the new Makita saw on the old rails I have, it cut the rubber strip to almost the rail. My old Festool TS55 left about a 1/16” of rubber strip but this really snugged it tight to the rail. Not sure this is all bad but wondered if anyone else experienced this?

Those rails also fit WEN saws and a couple of others. The WEN tracks are the cheapest and work just fine.

I have a cordless Makita track saw and run it on a Festool rail. I also have Makita rails. I agree with you that it cuts closer to the Festool rail than the Makita rail.

Can you adjust the Makita so it doesn’t cut that close on the Festool rails?
