Question about through dovetails with PC 4216. Possible to use 14° bit?

OK, so I've been using the 4112 model for the last 15 years or so, just for half blind dovetails. That kit included a 1/2" 14° bit. Now I'm looking to upgrade to the 4216, which I know comes with a 7° bit and I'm aware of the options for other bits that are discussed in the supplementary manual, but that is just for half blind joints. Just want to verify with someone, I don't think there is any way to use a 14° bit with the included templates for through dovetails. I saw the half blind topic was discussed in both of these threads:

but that was limited to the half blinds, not the through dovetails. It looks like you would need a different template ( which I don't believe exists) that would be targeted to a specific bit, like a 5/8" 14°, since you need to use both sides of the template for these. That is my only hesitancy to getting this jig, that I really don't like the look of the 7° angle for the through dovetails. Wish there was some option there to use a different bit. Appreciate any responses. Thanks.
