Topic tags/keywords: paint finishing sprayer

I was thinking about upgrading to a 3 stage sprayer. I currently use brushes and a high density foam roller. Will the results be different and is it worth it?

What are you spraying and what type of finish is it?
To replace brushes and rollers you might just need a airless spray painter.

Here is some guidance on HVLP stages: https://pittsburghsprayequip.com/blogs/pittsburgh-spray-equipment-company/hvlp-turbine-sprayer-stages-how-to-choose

I have an Earlex 5500 one stage unit. It really does well for varnish, but paint is not as smooth as I would like it, but not bad. I am going to get an Earlex 6003 – 3 stage for 499 on sale. I hear they are much better.
