Was wanting to share some shop lighting layouts in another post.
They ain’t an image file or a www.
Don’t know how to make them appear on my post. Or can I?

Thanks

My work around is to take a screen shot and then post that image file.

that don’t work so well. At least the way I did it. Came out too small to see the details.

Try a shot of the screen with your phone and crop it.

Screen shots and cropped photos of the screen won’t work if you can’t fit the entire document on the screen at one time. However, there is a bunch of software out there that can easily convert PDF files into other formats – postscript, TIFF, jpeg, png, etc…

Brad

Most phones and their pictures have amazing versatility. I was amazed by my wife’s totally electronic camera. It leaves amateur level 35 mm in the dust.

As an example of what Brad mentioned, this site will convert your PDF to a JPG:

And it worked! You DID get the PDF file posted here after all ;) The problem you are running into now is the site (or perhaps amazon aws which is where they get stored) re-sizing your image. For example, most of the images I post are 800×600, yet once they hit the site, they wind up 500×375. For stuff with writing in it, that usually winds up blurring things and making them hard to read. The greater the reduction, the worse it gets.

Cheers,
Brad
