I read the review here (https://www.lumberjocks.com/reviews/12174) and it sounds like a solid budget option, but with only one review it would be good to here some more opinions before I drop coin on it. If not the Washuda, what is another good budget friendly workbench jointer? I’m open to a cabinet style jointer as long as it’s not too big (say 60” max total length over both tables). Would like to keep it under $1K. Also, used tool market where I live seems almost non-existent so that’s not really an option.

Thanks

That review is mine and the jointer is still working fine and does what I want it to do. The biggest reason I bought a smaller bench top jointer was do to space concerns, not budget. It is currently on a flip cart with my planer. If I would of had the space I would buy a floor model with longer beds.

I was looking at 8” version a while back but got side tracked plus they were back-ordered/not available at the time. Glad to hear it is still performing to your satisfaction! I’m in similar situation with space.

I also found many other bench models have a spiral cutter but they are HSS, not carbide.

Have your say...
