A friend came over to help me adjust my jointer. He came out with a handmade box that had a set of Blue Spruce chisels that a friend gave him for Christmas! I apparently need a better class of friends! :) :) I’m glad he’ll still talk to a low life like me. :) :)

Those must be some sharp chisels if he is using them to adjust a metal jointer!

I do see the smileys but, throwing out a serious note, I would say time given from a friend is much more valuable than a set of chisels…even expensive Blue Spruce ones.

Could it be the good “friend” that gives out expensive chisel sets is him? Possibly if you are a friend, you may get gifted.

I would have to think about that. Hmmm. :)

So are good chisels that are both easy to sharpen AND hold their edge.
