Topic tags/keywords: plane

Good Afternoon!
I have a few odds and ends planes and hand tools I want to sell and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I usually sell tools I am getting rid of on ebay but have also been toks not to buy planes on ebay. These are solid worker planes vout from reputable dealers.
Thanks in advance.

You can post them here in the Trade & Swap section of the forums for sale too.

I’m not sure about Facebook, but here you don’t have a bunch of fees, like on Flea Bay. So you can afford to sell for less, and still probably net more than that Flea place. Ends with both happier buyers, and sellers.

Here you will do better with good pics, and you have to pick a price. IOW no haggle, and it’s not an auction. It’s best if you monitor it daily as well.

I buy and sell quite a few planes on ebay and have rarely had an issue. The fees of course suck but they are a “cost of doing business” to reach such a large audience.

I’ve also sold on the handtools subreddit. There are quite a few hand tool enthusiasts on that sub looking for quality user tools. If you want to sell there and have quite a few tools to list its best to post a group shot on Reddit and create an imgur gallery for all the detailed shots. Quite a few guys have sold tools this way.
