Topic tags/keywords: hvlp hose sprayer finish

I was given a Rockler HVLP-1000 sprayer that is missing its hose. I contacted Rockler and they don’t have parts or support for it any longer.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement or a way to make a new hose? I don’t know what the original hose looked like.
Thank you!

The discontinued Rockler sprayer is the same as the discontinued Harbor Freight 44677 sprayer. They might have parts, but you can at least look at the pictures.

I looked for some, pictures and honestly can’t tell how the hose is connected. But you might look at it closely, many of them are simply garden hose threads. In fact I replaced my Fuji hose with a more flexible garden hose just for ease of use.

I should have included a pic of the connector. This one is simply friction fit. No threads.

If you cannot find a replacement and if you have or know someone who has a 3D printer, you may be able to use a 1.5” shopvac hose and print some adapters for it. As long as the diameter stays fairly consistent from end to end it should work fine. You might even get lucky and find that the 1.5” hose fits without an adapter?

The Earlex Spray Station hose should fit that unit.

You’ll have to call them to see if they have that as a replacement part.

Get the inside friction diameters of both the unit and the spray gun. They use what is basically a shop vac hose. The trick will be finding a fitting that will friction fit in the unit/spray gun and then go inside the shop vac hose.
