Since I know I’m going to win it will be for sale since I just bought one a few weeks ago. Great machine!

Thanks for the heads up. If I win I’m not sure where it will fit in the shop as I didn’t plan for one but I’m sure I will find it a nice home.

Looks like a guy named Shane Sick won the drum sander.

I never heard of that sur-name until now.

I’d bet money that the winner posted a false name. I did, and used one of my burner emails. Once a company gets a live email, they can sell it off. I get email for a rocket club I used to run, with an incredible number of weird iterations on the name of the club. I’m considering sending back the return envelopes with a steel plate in them, that will arrive with serious postage due, and jack up their envelope slitters.

Pretty hard to prove you are the winner if you don’t have the winner’s name. Not much point in signing up for a contest under an alias, IMO. You can use an alias or burner email address if you don’t want to get a bunch of spam from their mailing list. Firefox browser has a feature called Relay where they will give you a burner email and forward it to your normal email address and you can disconnect the forwarding at any time if you start getting a bunch of nuisance emails through that address. That way you don’t have to remember to check a bunch of alternate email boxes. You can even give the alias email address a description so that you can tell who sold the email list or perhaps got hacked.

Ha ha ha! I think if my last name was Sick I’d consider changing it.
