I was drilling a few 1/8” holes with my cordless driver last week. I had set the driver down on the bench while I was measuring and marking some wood, when I heard a “ping” and the sound of a projectile hitting across the shop. I looked down and noticed that the drill bit was missing. Somehow the drill bit had spontaneously broken in half, and the end had hurtled across my wood shop.

Hey, we all have ‘em. I put something down and a minute later I can’t find it and spend a half hour looking for it !

Anything I drop they kick it under something where it is hard to reach.
