The Harvey website has the actual dimensions that include fence and everything. Unfortunately the Ambassador model is sold out already after being available yesterday (Oct 20). I’m not sure I can make the Alpha’s 31.5” deep table fit when stored away.

1) Anyone know the actual depth needed front to back (rail to rail OD) when the fence and dust collection is removed?

2) As far as overall width, Harvey says its 36” rip model is 71” inches which is huge and I’m guessing is due to the over-blade DC. Can the over-blade DC be removed easily? What does that do to the space requirements?

TIA

Harvey contact us form found here

If they give you wrong info, you likely would have some recourse.

Plus it would give you some idea of how they respond to questions. Granted the question to buy a product may be answered quicker, but if you send a question to them, and don’t get an answer for several weeks, isn’t that kind of telling you something? I would hardly think things would improve after they had your cash.

FWIW, I contacted Harvey today and they responded in an hour or so. Then we chatted. The depth of the Alpha is 38 1/2” and removing the dust collection does not shorten the left to right dimension. It’s as spec’d at 72”. This thing is huge. But awesome.
