My local hardwood dealer is unable to acquire this for me. Can anyone point me to a hardwood dealer that is able to get 4/4 Yellowheart in the quantity of 100 board feet? Thanks for the help!
My location is Willows about 100 miles north of Sacramento.

Try calling McBeath Hardwood in Berkeley or Stockton, CA? Wood Workers Source had a stack of ‘Brazilian Satinwood’ last time I visited, though it’s not cheap. They are owned by McBeath, and non-AZ stores I have visited have similar stock. If nothing else Woodworker’s source can sell mail order.

Most of hardwood sources I know are in SoCal.
Might call Advantage Lumber down in LA. They warehouse a lot of exotics in LA, and Yellowhart web price is cheaper than Wood Worker’s Source atm.

Supply .vs. Demand challenges are everywhere right now. Best Luck!

Check out Hearne Hardwoods or Bell Forest products. I realize they aren’t in CA. There is another place in OR but I’m drawing a blank on their name.

I went into the rafters of MacBeath in Berkeley and saw a healthy stack of the stuff. 100 bf, ... maybe. That was a few weeks ago. Definitely ring them up.

Have you tried Hughes Hardwoods in Chico? I haven’t been there in a while. But they they have a variety of hard woods.
