I was in my shop getting ready to do some routing and when I tried to lock and unlock the router lift, it wouldn’t budge.

Anyone know a fix for this?

Hard to say without knowing more- like what model lift you have. However, check your manual looking at backlash adjustment. The nuts might be jammed.

A pair of pliers might work.

I finally got back to it last night and the nuts on the bottom of the locking thingy were jammed together. I loosened the bottom nut and it would unlock and lock again. Thanks for the suggestion.

I thank all of you for your responses.
