Does anyone know anything about this tool? I ran across it on ebay. There are a whole bunch for sale on ebay. I’m wondering if people are getting rid of them because they rarely get used and they take up space? Any info will be helpful.

I’ve got one that I paid $45.00 on Ebay probably 10 years ago. I never would pay the over $100 price tag on it new.

I use it for 3 things. Sanding the juice groove on cutting boards, the hand hold on cutting boards, and the many fluted mldgs I’ve made over the years.

When I bought mine it came complete with all the sanding profiles.

It’s a piece of chit. I threw the sander away years ago, but kept the rubber profile blocks to use by hand.

The sander does exactly what it’s supposed to do and works great.
The drawbacks are that there are not a lot of uses for it.

You can’t beat it if you’re sanding flutes (as Bruc101 mentioned)
And using the rubber blocks by hand is also beneficial.

I have used the triangle plate for sanding inside box corners a few times as well.

It’s definitely not the most used too, but it’s inexpensive and I’m glad to have it when the need comes up.
It’s a tool case, it doesn’t take up a whole lot of room.

i agree the sander works fine,it’s just a specialized tool, not for everyone.
