Not sure of the model number of mine, it is the mutlitool, not just a sander.
While I prefer a 5 or 6 inch ROS this thing was a life saver in sanding inside my boat. Saved me hours and hours of hand sanding. Went through paper like crazy but finally tried turning the speed down and that dramatically increased the life of the sandpaper.

It is a Bosch and not sure the model number. I bought it a few year back.
No swirl marks in my boat but the level of finish isn't that important since it was painted over and will them be covered. But I think that swirl marks depend a lot on the user and working through the grits of paper.
Didn't Dremel also make a "Detail Sander"? Or, as they called it, a contour sander….had various rubber inserts you slipped a sleeve over….about any shape could be sanded.
