Topic tags/keywords: facebook group forum questions

I see Lumberjocks has a Facebook page (that seems pretty inactive), but I haven’t been able to find a Lumberjocks Facebook GROUP.

I have found that I get on the computer less and less, and am on my mobile phone more and more (especially on Facebook). Lumberjocks is just not a great experience on a mobile phone. I think a facebook group could be really beneficial for existing members and for getting new members to sign up….

Well, since I didn’t see a group. I created one myself. Here is the link:

Or you can simply search for “Lumberjocks” in the group section of Facebook.

I’m not sure if the owners of the website are okay with this or not. It didn’t occur to me until after I made the group. If the owners of are not okay with this, please let me know and I’ll delete the group. I definitely don’t want to cause trouble. Or reach out to me and I’ll make you an admin of the facebook group!

Anyways….maybe I’ll see you over there!

I’m dumping my Farcebook, I’m sick to death of the censorship and the lies being perpetrated there so I sure won’t be using it.

Face what? Is that like that Twit thing? People always talking about twits tweetin or something.

Ughhh said the PC caveman. Big monitor. Rahhhh

I don’t even text, for my $$$$ they call them cell PHONES, not cell computers. Call, talk Ughhhh, beats large wooden stick on ground…

Seriously once when trying to catch up with some past co-workers, my Wife had me join facewhatever, and in 2 days I had 326 new friends I’d never heard of before. Nobody I wanted to reach out to answered, found them through a new job I took, there they all were. I guess I’m a believer that if it’s supposed to be, it somehow works out.

Good luck with your new group.

I have a FaceBook account but never go to it. Don’t care for their censorship and politics but your free to carry on.

Don’t do facebook for all the reasons stated above and probably never will. Privacy is important even if you have nothing to hide.

I’m banned on Facebook for talking against their left wing Fascist narrative. I would not use Facebook for Lumberjocks or anything else. They take away first amendment rights!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Lumberjocks on Facebook will be a very empty site…Just go to the real thing!!..right here!!!!!

Our woodworkers guild has a site on facebook but now that we don’t meet in person, I’m going to give them a video of how to join Lumberjocks and hope to use that instead of that FB site. Lumberjocks is the easiest site to navigate, too
Cheers, Jim

I don’t talk about politics or religion on websites so I don’t have any issues. I belong to some woodworking groups on there and there’s some good info.

I’m another guy who doesn’t use Facebook. I’ve got better things to do with my time.

I don’t use Facebook either. Not because of religion or politics. Which, for the record, Facebook is a company, not a government branch – they can sensor whomever they please. They’re under no obligation to grant freedom of speech. I’m just an introvert who likes my privacy. So, Facebook sounds like a nightmare ;-)

I don’t have a facebook account either, due to privacy concerns. My wife does so I use it exclusively to find deals on stuff I don’t need on marketplace.
