I just received word from Bob Collins Grandson, that sadly, Bob Passed away over the Weekend.
Bob was from the State Of Victoria in Australia.
Bob was a Lumber Jock Buddy of mine and we enjoyed the occasional Email Correspondence. We would compare notes on how things were going in our own particular parts of Australia. Bob lived way down South and I live Way up North.
Bob gave me some good and useful tips on Scroll Sawing. I liked his direct and Dry sense of Humour.

I Will Miss You Bob…......Lumber Jock Cliff…...

Cliff,
You may wish to add this comment onto his home page as I don’t think the In Memoriam is operational at the moment.

OMG. I’ve been a bit slack lately with so much other stuff happening in my world. I’ve just found this.

Bob was an early influence in my “wood’ Career, and we talked a lot about stuff.

As Candy said, his mobius ribbons were fabulous and try as I did I couldn’t get anywhere near them.
RIP Brother.

Bob.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
