Well since its been raining like cats and ducks here today, I figured, Hmmm. My wife was busy with the housework, grandkids won’t be here till around 7pm.
So, my thoughts have led me to move this much needed project to the front burner.

In addition to posting about this project, my task at hand is to experiment with the ” Sideways, Upside down Picture Posting.

Hopefully this will keep me out of the penalty box and off some blocked lists. You never know, I could pull off a cool piece some day that some won’t see. (Aftershock Engineering)

Now, since I only take hobby/shop pictures with my phone. This could be a challenge after typing this on our PC, then have to switch to my phone to access the pictures to post here.

So, I’m also using this thread as a TEST …..”Sideways, Upside down Picture Posting experiment. Going from my PC to cell.
I will give it a shot,
Hope it works out.

Cheers,
Gary & Christine

I have been putting this project off for days now.
Since it was raining all day here, I finally had time to get it done.

Heck, must of had the safety on. Didn’t give me a preview option.
Wait…I get my reading glasses and try again.

“TEST #3 – show formatting reference??. Don’t see any other options .

Well,
Sorry guys. Picture editing, croping is obviously out of my skill set here.

Best of luck to all!

Easiest way to fix is to just hold your phone the right way when you snap the picture. Yours are upside down, so for example – if you are holding the phone with the button on the right, turn it so the button is on the left. Fixed.

Samsung Galaxy note 9 here and if I always hold the phone sideways (landscape) with the button on the right it works for me. It is only when I need to show something tall that I go sideways. Some times I need to crop to stay under limit. Is it the crop that makes it right or will I still need to rotate it when this is done. I take so few vertical pictures that it may be some time before I can test this out.

I always try and use landscape mode with button on the right. I use a resizing app on my phone to shrink the picture size to 800×600. I never rotate. After resizing, the pics always seem to post correctly.
