Does anyone know a good place to purchase an aftermarket table saw insert/throat plate for the new delta uni-saw’s? In looking at getting them from a delta dealer they run $59.00.

I know it’s a new saw but usually some company sells inserts at a cheaper price.

Why not just make your own? For my Jet saw, I used scrap pieces of 1/2” Baltic Birch ply. Use the factory plate for a pattern and cut them to the correct shape.

Mine were very slightly lower than the saw table and some strips of duct tape on the bottom fixed that. Or, you could get fancy and add adjustment screws.

I made up three, and have one for zero clearance, one for my dado set, and a spare. When/If I need to, I’ll make more.

I got mine from woodcraft for $34.00
it is made made in Georga and is a high quality insert.
When I got mine it had a paper with it that said I was one of the first to purchase one and wanted my feedback I told them that the riving knife was yust a little wide and I got a call from the president of
leecraft. and I told him my concerns and he looked into it and said he would narrow it down by 1/32
and if I needed another I could call him and he would send me one for a substansal savings for helping him
get the bugs out of a new product. Leecraft makes quality inserts I have used them before on A powermatic
contractors saw. hope this helps
