At my age and cutting a lot of dovetails, this guy may be on to something. I tried this once on some red oak and it didn't work out to well for me. It could have just been me,.
When you count setup time for the router, not much advantage if you have a good fretsaw and know how to use it.
…. but it does seem to work for him on large dovetails.
