Finaaly got some time with Beloved Spouse away to get some things done. Been needing an outfeed table fot the Dewalt 745 which is on a shop made rolling cart. Several ideas have presented themselves, but I needed something easy to make, quick to assemble snd disassemble and easy to store. I have a 20” X 48” folding table I bought years ago. It gets put to any number of uses. This would be great, but it is at regular dining table height. I needed a way to raise it up for use with the saw. Various options were considered, but the best one seemed to be the leg extensions shown below, made with materials on hand in the shop. Nothing more than 3/4” dowel cut to a long enough to raise the table to the desired height, plus two inches to fit up inside the tubular leg. Pins made from a 4D nail were inserted into holes just below the two inch mark and bent into a Z shape to hold them in place. The pins hold the legs at the desired height. Rubber feet will be instalked to prevent slipping.
