Hello Lumberjocks. Looking for a little help.

I’m about to undertake the building of an M&M candy dispenser. You know, the upside down jar with the pull out slide to dispense the candy. I’m wrestling with how to make the holes for the candy to drop through so that they don’t jam when you slide shaft to dispense the candy. Is it a simple chamfer on the edge, a round over. What works best? Also what size is best, I’m thinking 1.5”. Any advice?

Made a rotary wheel candy dispenser, does that count?
Used a 1/8” round over bit on edges the candy slide across, regular and peanut M&M work fine, Skittles too.
