Recently I got a new bandsaw and so to test it I thought I would make my first bandsaw box. It's nothing special that's for sure, I didn't use a template as I didn't really care what the shape was, I just wanted to cut some wood! The woods are a laminate of poplar, cherry, and birch, the dark almost black strips are poplar and from the same board as the face. All of the wood was pretty much just cut offs but the poplar was a 2.5" x 3/4" x 2' board that I had sitting around. Now that I know how to make one I started planning a few more that I'll make from a nice piece of zebra wood and Purple Heart. Thanks for reading!

Great job for first attempt. If you want it to be even with the front glue a piece of wood in the back of the box.

Thanks! This was t a very serious attempt, next time I'll match the thickness of the drawer, I'm entirely sure where I lost thickness in the back of the drawer, but oh well. This will probably hold small pins or loose nails in my shop any way. A more serious attempt is on its way!

good for you. That looks real nice.
