So I recently took a risk on buying an "open box" Delta 36-725T2. It came with most of the parts, the main exception being one of the cast plates (which I've already acquired), and the fence system (it came with the rails but not the tube with measurements).
I'm wondering:
1 - does anyone here have a 725 or 725t2 who has upgraded the fence and wants to sell their original, or
2 - any recommendations for a decent fence system that will fit this saw?
Delta's website says it isn't available yet for purchase, I'm still going to call them but thought I'd reach out here first.
The good news is, I only paid $110 for the "as is, open box" so I feel like I'm going to come out with a decent saw at a decent price when all is said and done.
I just bought a Delta T4 at Home Depot for a little under $200. You have to order online but they shipped to store in just a few days for free. This fence was 100 times better than my old stock fence

I have the Delta 36-725T2 and if I upgrade the fence the T4 is exactly what I was going to get. I seem to recall reading the T4 is a direct bolt on to the Delta 36-725T2 but I would verify that if you decide to go with the T4.
In June I am upgrading to an Incra fence for my Tablesaw. I will be selling my biesemeyer fence off of my Delta 36-L352 Tablesaw. You didn't list where your located if your within driving distance you can pick it up when I switch it out.

It's the T4, not the T3? This is the only one I can find https://www.homedepot.com/p/205803795, the 36-T30T3. It's listed as out of stock, at both Home Depot and Lowes, and I've signed up for notifications for when it comes back in stock. Is this the one, or is there a different one?

Okay I did find one youtube video that mentions the T4 and ordering it from Home Depot… It looks like its the one that would have come with the saw to begin with, the T4 has the fold down side for small cuts correct? If that is the one, I agree with both of you, that is what I'd want to order and under $200 is a great deal. I'll have to keep searching because it looks like it's gone from the HD site, maybe they weren't supposed to release it yet??
15 miles north of Ft. Wayne Indiana area it's about a 3hr drive. You may want to cut it down to make it shorter because it's 52" to the right of the blade.

Ok something is really strange with their site. I logged into my account and I paid 205.99 on March 31 for a Delta Power Systems 30" t-square and fence and received the T4, but if I click the link it takes me to the T3 for $183. ????
Well, previously I could not find a Ridgid oscillating spindle sander at any of the HDs online. But when I went, both stores nearby each had 2 in stock. For a big company they have one of the worst websites and stock systems.
That could work, that's a reasonable drive, and I have a neighbor who I think has family in ft wayne so one way or another I can get there. Keep me posted on your timeline and I'll let you know, what will you be looking to get for the fence? I drove an hour each way today to get an extension wing (it only came with one…)

LOL, I'm just worried that they realized it's a really good fence so they "recalled" it and are going to re-launch it with a new SKU for $350
And yeah, their website vs in store can be a real pain, I had to replace a garbage disposal a few months back and looked online and found a "special buy" for $160, got to the store and it was $225. I was sure they would adjust, but when I checked out they said "you have to order online to get that price." So I literally had to order it on my phone, then go the the customer service desk and wait for an associate to go back and get it and bring it to the in store pick up… I couldn't believe it.
So are you only missing the front tube? Do you have the rest of the fence?
If this is the case, you can buy the tube at any metal supply yard. And you can also get the stick on measuring tape on Amazon. Even cut the tube to any length you want.

According to Incra they are shipping my fence mid June. I will pm you when I change it out. It's yours for the taking no charge for a lumberjock. Just hope it works out for you.

Want to see something weird go look at the reviews for it. A review from March 22 shows pics of the T4, and a review from May 13 shows the T3, LOL. Their site is whack

I am in the Columbus Ohio area, not sure where you are but Ill be driving to CT and ME in June if you are in the northeast.
If you can make the trip OP, and deal with a little wait, that seems like a no-brainer.
I'm also in the Columbus area. And also a new-ish T2 owner. Great saw, and you got a screaming deal. Have you fired it up just to make sure it works? Lol.
I'd suggest also joining the Facebook Delta 725 owners group. TONS of great people and resources. Any mod or question you might be pondering likely was already done by someone else, and they'll be more than happy to talk you through it.
For instance, I did my own DIY rail upgrade. Went from the stock two piece rail to a one piece. And increased the rip capacity to 42" in the process.
If all else fails, I'll bet you could find a fence through the FB group page. But it sounds like you've got an outstanding lead on a very nice fence.

I did get it running, the power cord had been cut (on purpose) with about 2 inches of lead wire left from the motor. I wired in a plug just to make sure it's working and it fired up great, put a blade on and it cut well. I'm going to wire a permanent cord on with a plug and get an amazon paddle switch that it can plug into.
It is out of alignment though as I think the box may have been dropped off a truck, the thin metal wear plate on the trunnions was missing on one side and mangled on the other. I am ordering those from delta, their only $2 each.

Awesome. Sounds like for a little bit of effort you're coming away with a really solid deal.
Regarding alignment, you may not need to adjust the trunnions. Unless it's way off. There are two button head bolts that are obscured by the fabric dust chute. Remove the screws for the fabric so you can access the bolts. Back them out just a little. From there you can gently pull/push the motor.
Mine was around .005" out of the box. Got it down to .000" in about 10 minutes. Little bit of trial/error and technique. As when you snug the bolts back down it'll move a few thousandths.
