Topic tags/keywords: question wood identification

I’m not great at identifying species, especially finished pieces. Can someone tell me what they think this antique table is made of? Planning on using it to build another table.

Open grain, strong banding, rays – Oak

Oak that has been aged. I’d say about 50+ years. Oak has a certain look at different ages. 50, 100, or even 150 years. I really like the look of 150-200 year old Oak.
