I keep calling these “shelves” but really they’re just hickory cut to length.

We picked pieces with both sapwood & heartwood. We glued one in order to keep the color consistent.

The good thing about this project is you don’t waste any wood.

This is the first one with linseed and 3 coats of poly:

This one is the one that’s glued, we forced it (big time) so we used pocket screws. It has one coat of linseed and 0 poly so far until it dries:

Depending on the device you are using most have editing programs; in fact most cameras and smart phones have editing programs. Just open the image find the rotate tool, rotate it and save the results.

I just did this on my Mac computer using the program called Preview. Took two clicks.
