What is soluble into Minwax poly? Xylene/Acetone?

I’m asking because I’m using analine dye that is soluble in MEIK, Methanol, Toluene and Ethanol and my wood won’t accept any more color and I need to add to the poly coat.
I have also found that the dye dissolves really really nicely into 3M Specialty Adhesive Remover which has abunch of stuff bot mostly Xylene and acetone.
That’s ok for staining the wood, but not a great option for mixing into poly.

+1 MS or turpentine. Naptha is want fastest evaporation rate.

Most solvent based polyurethane liquid coatings are compatible with aromatic hydrocarbon solvents.
My suggestion is to dissolve the dye into toluene or xylene only, and then mix that into poly. The ketones and alcohol listed options will not mix well.
