Topic tags/keywords: sander tools spindle sander sanding

I’ve finished making my spindle sander and therefore the spindle sander video. Works great! I think it’s the best thing I’ve found for doing instrument necks.

Decided to have a little fun with this video so it’s a little different than my regular HOWTOs. Enjoy and hope you find it informative should you decide to make your own.

That’s pretty cool Paul and some good ideas. I’ve also heard them called rolling pin sanders. I’ve been meaning to make one for a long time for levelling guitar sides. Every time I manually sand the waists with a dowel wrapped in sandpaper, I remind myself again.

Yea, everytime I decide to make some tool or jig everything else in the shop comes to a stand still for a few days until I finish it. Procrastination is the best!

Good video. That old Ryobi brings back memories of the first drill I bought on my own.
