Just wondering why most sources are completely out of all 3 1/4 HP routers. Is the supply chain totally messed up? Are the Chinese pissed off at us? or…......

I have been using a Bora PM-254 for a few months now. It has been a dream to use. Smooth, quiet, and reliable so far. All I have seen on reviews is bad news for this source. Since I have 4 dead Porter Cable routers I thought I needed another backup. Can’t find anything that will fit the PC diameter for my ShopBot. The Bora is perfect fit.

any ieas?

Parts shortages and increased demand are leading to inventory problems in a lot of industries. As people snap up stuff already on the shelves, manufacturers are having problems replenishing stock because they can’t ship a product that’s 97% complete. While I don’t have any specific insight in to woodworking supply/demand, I don’t see why it wouldn’t follow the above pattern that’s affecting so many others.
