Hi, I need a really short section of 6” flex hose for my 2 stage dust collection system I am building, and I don’t want to buy 5’ or 10’ when I only need 1’ or less. Does Woodcraft or anywhere else sell flex hose by the foot? I’d ideally like to connect my chip/dust barrel to the bottom of my SDD with something that isn’t ridged.

Common problem. LOL

www.mcmaster.com and www.usplastic.com sell flex hose by foot.
There are some eBay folks that sell 6” clear hose and leaf vacuum hose by foot too.

Often find cost for 1 ft is almost same as buying 5ft length from PowerTech, especially with free shipping from Amadud. Some places that carry Woodstock products, might have D4585 6” hose that is 6” long?

Luckily, have a local wood working supplier that sells by foot.
Never seen by foot sales at my local Woodcraft or Rockrap stores. Since they are franchises, some might?

Best Luck.

Too bad you don’t live close. I have 8’ piece laying by my garage I am not going to use. I got it free from a friend and used what I needed for the same thing your trying to do.

Thanks for the responses. Will check out the links and see if either makes sense, or if I need to come up with an alternative design.

As a after thought, have you checked with commercial woodworking shops. We used to keep all kinds of leftovers.
