I’m looking to get a dust system for a garage workshop and wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a Dewalt 10 in. Job Site Table Saw, it has a 2.5 OD dust port? I was thinking about getting the Mini-Gorilla Dust Collector, which I think would work great for a tabletop jointer and planner….but worried the reduction in port size will make it ineffective for the table saw. Other option I was thinking was a shopvac with a dust deputy…but worried that won’t have enough airflow to handle the table saw. Any recommendation what would work well for the table saw part?

Thanks!

Best bet would be a shop vac, DCs don’t do well when choked down. Even better, try to open the port up somehow to 4” and then use a DC.

Thanks, Fred! I’ll take the shop vac route, as their doesn’t seem to be an easy way to open the port on the DEWALT DWE7491RS. Appreciate the help.

Rockler makes some adaptors to convert 2.5 to 4”. They work fine with dust collectors.
